6.Each weight lifter loses an average of 1/10 of a pound per minute during a workout. How many weight lifters would it take to lose 72 pounds in a one hour workout?
7. Joe and Bill leave their vacation spot at the same time and head for home, which is 520 miles away. Joe travels at an average of 65 miles per hour and Bill travels at an average of 50 miles per hour. How much sooner did Joe arrive home than Bill?
8. One-half of the sixth grade students gave their reports on either Monday or Tuesday, and three students gave their reports on Wednesday. The remaining nine-twentieths of the sixth grade students gave their reports on Thursday or Friday. How many sixth grade students are there?
